Mountain Peak Milkshakes!

Bean Gaming Café

Previously an Italian restaurant, this sophisticated interiors is now a place full of fun and food. Inside is a very casual setting with a bookcase full of all sorts of old and new games. The atmosphere of the room was buzzing as there was many groups that were enjoying their games. Small and simple menu but that was more than efficient, sometimes less is more and simplicity and fun is one life’s greatest moments. We didn’t want food as we were eating later so we just ordered a couple of drinks, I had a simple soft drink but Rakesh ordered a fancy milkshake, which you can customise to suit your taste. When it arrive I was wowed by the colourful topping, size of glass and with a high peaked cream on top. The taste was lovely, creamy, smooth and chocolate swirls and smarties all through and over the top of the milkshake, lovely jubbley!

The exciting part of this café is the gaming aspect, with a corner space to play large floor games like Twister. We can just go and help ourselves from the library of games, there were many choice but I got exciting seeing a ‘first dates’ (the TV show) game which I did not realise even existed. As we got playing we thought it was like the Mr and Mrs game show on TV, some questions definitely made us laugh, some questions tested us as a couple and some questions also bought out life stories and this allowed us to continue to learn about each other.
