Grilled Halloumi
Bite sized goodies!
Halloumi is one of those ingredients that absorbs any flavours keeping it simple with a few ingredients or jazzing it up with many ingredients, grilled halloumi is my best version with whatever you slosh, dollop, dip and drizzle on or in it. I kept this simple because all the other barbecue items had a range of herbs and spices. Other ingredients that can be used in the marinade is crushed garlic and chilli flakes and change up the herbs for example use oregano instead of mixed herbs.
Grilled Halloumi: Text
Ingredients:
250g halloumi, cut lengthways into strips
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp mixed herb
A drizzle of olive oil
Method:
1) Combine all the above ingredients and grill until golden brown.
Serving suggestions: Enjoy on its own with a squeeze of lemon juice or with a chilli dip, don’t wait, best eaten hot off the grill!
